Weeklong Workshop with Joe McNally in St. Lucia
Blanketed in lush jungles, edged by luminous white-sand beaches, and crowned by the staggering twin peaks of its iconic Pitons, a UNESCO World Heritage site, Saint Lucia is one of the Caribbean’s most picturesque islands. Capture this stunning tropical scenery—and the stories of a vibrant Caribbean culture—while fine-tuning your photography and lighting skills. You'll have a fabulous view of the mesmerizing peaks, rising from the surrounding sapphire waters in a lush explosion of emerald-green splendor from our incredible hotel, Anse Chasnet.
This workshop incorporates a mix of photographic learning and discussion in the classroom, as well as exploration and practice out in the field. Most days include a photo shoot in the field, hands on learning, on location demos, specific assignments to enhance your photographic skills, and edit-and-critique sessions in our designated classroom. The weekend is capped off by a final image presentation to showcase participants’ best or favorite work taken throughout the weekend/week.

FUN FACTS
Strangely enough, St Lucia is the only country in the world named after a woman! The island was named by French colonists in the 1600s after St Lucy, the patron saint of the blind and those with eye problems.
