Join us in the Land of Smiles. We will photograph the wats and temples, the massive golden shrines to Buddha, the bustling river and land markets that are overflowing with everything you can imagine, and the legendary nightlife that pulses through the city as soon as the sun sets. Experience Thai food that is simple and delicious. Our first location for photographing is the dazzling Grand Palace, Bangkok’s most famous landmark. Built in 1782, this complex and former home of the Royal Family is the spiritual heart of Thailand. We'll head out of the city to visit the Floating Markets. Day in and day out, the Floating Market is routinely crowded with hundreds of vendors and purchasers floating in their small rowing boats buying and selling their goods. A kaleidoscope of color and confusion, these markets are a photographer’s paradise. Then we’re off to the Elephant Village to spend the afternoon with these sacred animals. We'll visit the largest weekend market in Bangkok, the Chatuchak, which covers over 35 acres and as many as 8,000 stalls.
